Edson
is a growing community with a lot of young families. The
Edson Kinsmen Club is an organization that values community
residents and understands the needs of those young families.
Through projects like Kinsmen Park, Vision Park, the Slo-Pitch
Tournament, the Santa Claus Project, Cystic Fibrosis support,
Skateboard Park, Kin Comedy Night, Monsters and Mudders,
and the support of various local and regional
organizations, the Kinsmen Club is committed to making Edson
the best community it can be.
I am writing to invite your business to donate, through
monetary means, or through gifts in kind, as we embark on
our newest project to benefit Edson’s youth. The Edson Kinsmen
Club is building a Spray Park in Kinsmen Park, located directly
south of the Edson Public Library at 4726 - 8 Avenue. With
your support, we will construct one
of the best Spray Parks in Alberta in an effort to not only
benefit the children and families of Edson, but to draw
families to the community from other areas of the Province.
The fact that this Spray Park will also be wheelchair accessible
will enable all children to be able to use this park. Our
projected “Breaking Ground” date is for the Spring of 2011.
Please
know that all contributions you make will go directly to
the Spray Park project. I will follow up with you to discuss
your possible donation. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration
of our request.
Sincerely,
Don
